For the project day, on 19.12.2022, all pupils of the IPM visited the Meeraner church "St. Martin" and took part in an organ tour there. Mr. Ranft-Knopfe (cantor) showed the children the church and played well-known Christmas carols for them on the organ, which the children had to guess. The children listened intently and took in the impressions with enthusiasm.

Classes 3 and 4 then visited the Christmas exhibition at the Meeraner Heimatmuseum and were introduced to the various exhibits by Mrs. Sommerfeld. There was also a lot to see here, including pyramids in various sizes and designs. Vreni from class 3 was especially enthusiastic about the pyramid that was built entirely out of matchsticks. Tamara, also from Class 3, again loved the weaving room.

All in all, the excursion was a successful way to get in the mood for the pre-Christmas season!
