On August 3, 2024, the time had finally come: 46 excited girls and boys celebrated their first day of school! The anticipation was huge and excitement was in the air.
After the parents, siblings and all the other guests had taken their seats, our little protagonists entered the ballroom and took their seats in the first rows. Mr. Eis, the principal of IPM, greeted everyone and with kind words and lots of fun took away the initial excitement of the ABC pupils. Pupils from the upper classes performed a great musical. It showed the children that nobody needs to be afraid of the new. Afterwards, each pupil received their satchel from their class teacher. The beaming faces of the children were priceless as they received their new satchels. It was a moment full of joy and pride! With their satchels on their backs, they headed out into the courtyard. There the parents were waiting with their children's school bags to hand them over. The children could hardly wait to open their sugar cones and discover the surprises, but they still had to be patient. At the end of the event, the girls and boys were given balloons with their parents' wishes for the future to release them into the sky together. It was a beautiful sight as the colorful balloons floated into the blue sky.
On Monday, the 46 girls and boys were ready to conquer the school and start their new adventure full of joy and confidence. We, the teachers and educators at IPM, wish all the ABCs lots of fun.
