For Women's Day on March 8, 2025, the International Primary School opened its doors to all interested guests from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. There was a small welcome gift for all women in the entrance area and at 3 pm the extensive stage program started in the gym. This was opened by the principal Mr. Eis and our students in several languages.
The GTA "the folks", led by Mr. Scherzer, and the GTA "Dance", led by Ms. Bernhardt, showed what they have put together over the last few months and impressed the audience with their singing and performance. The GTA "Drumming" demonstrated a real sense of rhythm under the direction of Ms. Matzke. For the fashion show, our students presented various models of school clothing. The stage program was also accompanied musically at the beginning and end by two pupils from class 2b on the piano.
On our premises, the guests were given an insight into the various subject areas and were able to talk to the teachers and educators. The Phänomenia and the Hotsy Totsy therapy center offered various opportunities to try out and experiment.
Also represented were our municipal bookstore Goerke, with owner Ms. Hengmith, as well as the school support association of the IOM and IPM, represented by Ms. Münch and Mr. Genrich.
Another highlight of the program was the performance of the play Cinderella by Class 3, which they performed with great skill and fantastic costumes.
A big thank you goes to our hard-working parents and helpers who actively supported us with baking and selling cakes. It was a wonderful day with lots of interesting impressions and conversations.
