On your marks - get set - go!

On 09.06.2024, the Meerathon took place for the 6th time to crown the 850th anniversary celebrations of the town of Meerane. Running enthusiasts of all ages took to the starting line on five routes of different lengths in beautiful weather. Some of our primary school pupils from the International Primary School Meerane also caught the running bug and, together with friends, parents or on their own, they achieved several placings and received trophies and certificates for their strong performances. But it wasn't just about winning, because the sheer joy of running and persevering together inspired many, which is also clear from the increasing number of participants every year. And so we are already looking forward to taking part again next year. Until then, we will continue to practice diligently.
